  • TT - Isle of Man

Just wondering if anyone is coming over for the TT this year. First practice was Saturday. I think Bibs said she was. I start on the long trawl through the fortnight tomorrow bright and early. Don't get a day off til it's all done. Sorry if I don't reply to this immediately. I'll get there. I'm up Ramsey if anyone is over. There are plenty of surfs over here but I think I'm the only one with the blue star in the windscreen. Blue star for a blue truck!
    Aahhh let the mayhem begin!

Hi mate - yeah we sail over Friday an I can't wait

Hoping to make the Ramsey sprint this year as we always seem to miss it.

I see there is loads going on this year - we will be based in Douglas not far from the pits.

I was there 3 weeks ago for a few days. Stayed at the Sulby Glen Hotel. Had awesome weather on the Thursday (after the last bank holiday), not so nice on the Friday and Saturday morning.

A lovely place and great fun, and though I didn't have the atmosphere of the TT I did have the roads practically to myself. I'll definitely be back.

Cool hope to see you there at the sprint as I'll be around somewhere. So far not many people are over for it. The camp sites are quiet. I'm sure that'll change in the next few days for this weekend! The Sulby Glen Hotel is a good spot for a bite to eat. Fantastic Lasagne and super Dime bar cake!!! The licensee / owner there is a good crack. Unfortunately I don't think you can watch from outside the pub now as it's a restricted area.
What you coming over on Bibs? Bike or Beast?
