  • Got them fitted.....:-D

Got the new wheels n tyres fitted today, love them. Looks tons better. Thing is I take it I need different wheel nuts! Are the standard ones ok to drive on for now till I can get some different ones or can I leave them. :

I would say you could get away with short distances - which nuts have you got ?

i would be inclined to have the correct wheel nuts for them Bibs as i wouldn't want to take the chance driving it with the wrong ones fitted

They are the original ones for alloys an had the steel ones put on an no one has mentioned I had to get new ones but they stick out an look odd.

Driving about 15 miles (there an back).

              like these?

As long as they tighten down on to the wheel ok they'll be allright for short distances, but check em regularly (every journey) til you get the right nuts for the wheels. And get them changed in the next few days.

No the original alloy ones are flanged ........those need tapered ones, i think, so i would not drive it till you have the correct ones........

The ones that come with the standard alloy wont be any good on the type of aftermarket alloys you've fitted, you'll need some taper seat nuts, i think. if you can post a pic of the actual wheel lug hole it'll help' my aftermarket wheels had a steel taper insert, to take the taper nut
Too young to die and too old to give a toss
