  • Air filter/veg oil

Time to pickle all your brains, or try too, am trying to make a wee system for wvo, thinking o using an air filter, would this work for passing oil through, would it get down to the right micron size

No mate, because particles of the air filter would eventually contaminate the oil (they're paper based you see).

Why don't you just listen to Yoshies advice?

You could always put the air filter inside a pillow case I suppose!

If they were of any use for anything other than filtering air, they wouldn't call them air filters would they. If you really want to carry on with the tight arse attitude towards filtering, the minimum you should be doing is getting hold of something like a second hand Lucas Ford *FUEL* filter that uses the canister type element and filter it through that system. You at least then know it is filtered to acceptable levels for a fuel system. Replacement canisters are cheap, hence the suggestion.

There's some sheep on the common land near me.

Can I filter WVO through sheep?

Cool, I need to make a rack to hold them in place. Scorpion racing make a sheep rack...

Not 100% shorn, thats why I asked.

If I was shorn, I'd be doing it already...

No, but Pig Racing do a Scorpion holder. Not sure a Scorpion would get down to less than about 30 microns though...
