    HELLO!

been quiet browsing the forum & signed up recently - just picked up a 3.0 ssrx N plate so expect lots of stupid noob tye questions soon, will post a pic when i can. she is green, needs a bit tidying & the cup holders broke - gutted.
Am intending to either partally vinyl wrap the vehicle to promote my company or just add something strange to it graphic wise,
not a plug but i run a small sign & graphics company so will try & decorate when time allows.
Vehicle wise i have only done about 30 miles so far, nothing untoward so far (apart from the cup holder - gutted) & the rear speaers arent working, there is a receipt for fitting new speakers front & rear so i presume they are installed

    Nice to meet you all
    cheers
    Red (& the surfs green......)

    Welcome

You might want to edit the thread title.....

Plenty of useful advice here and a few breakers going that may be able to produce a cup holder. I presume it's a 3rd gen though (tailgate lifts up)? Could be harder.

Apache probably has the sticker market sown up anyway - he charges 'hobby rates'.

Rear speakers are powered by an inline amp which is part of the Toyota set up for the Surf. Check that there is power coming from the auxilary supply wire on your head unit and that it is connected to the amp / aerial wire. If no supply try wiring directly from the ignition.

The amp / electric aerial wire is blue on my '95 Surf and I think it has 'antenna' printed on the wiring. Please double check before you wire a live up to any unknown wires, I don't want to be held responsible for helping you set fire to your new toy!

Welcome to the forum by the way.
