Gearbox still playing up!

Getting to the end of my tether with this one! Does anybody have any up to date info on why the auto box on me 93/3.0ltr surf is refusing to go into 4th and no overdrive. Overdrive light flashes on/off all the time unless you turn it of via the button, also have no speedo working.
If this is soleniod problems, any idea how much to repair?

if you already have a thread on this im sorry ,but i havnt been folowing it.its more than likely to be the speed control on the back of the gearbox.i think dave.joker had the same problem.

mine was not going into 4th or if it did it was late
i dont know if this is right or i was fleeced
cost me 645 quid for a full rebiuld on my gearbox (it leaked too)
it flows into gear now
i had sheared off a small spline that pop out in revesre?
anyway the spline flucked my ATF pump and converter

but there is others on here that know more about it than me
i just payed for it done easy that way

B*gger me, don't fancy that much! There seems to be so many different opinions to solving this particular problem but as yet none of which seems to have come up with the answer..............guess i'll just have to bite the bullit. I just don't get why the speedo stopped working as well? very odd. Thanks for your suggestions and any more are welcome.

if you find you need another gearbox i got a 3.0l 2nd gen breaking.Sorry i can't help with the problem but if this gearbox helps you out from not paying a fortune its of some help

have you done the fault codes, changing duff solonoids is not a big deal.

(4th is Overdrive)
