Personaly I prefer day out with a variety of green lanes. Farm tracks through to very rough/ almost impossible. Luckily we have a good variation around S Devon.
      My other cars a QUAD

Me and Linda spent 2 weeks with friends driving the Rubicon Trail a couple of summers ago, we've also driven round the Blue Mountains in Oz, offroading in the UK has never quite been the same since.

              cool, good luck.

but unless you can make the country bigger, you won't get the full effect. the beauty of the US and Oz is that you have to pack all your stuff with you and you don't see tarmac or more than 2 or 3 other offroaders for 3 or more days at a time.

The more technical the better would jump at the chance of rockcrawling in a sorted truck.

I love Drumclog up here as it has it all steep climbs/decents, rivers, forest and mud my god the place has more than it's fair share just now. Roll on the dry spells

Would love to go off roading again but since Weardale last July no one seems to go out around here. I know most of you love the mud but I would prefer it dry (yes I know I'm a wimp but I still enjoy the challenge of driving off road). I'd like to try green laning but once again it looks like I would have to travel to Scotland or the Midlands to meet up with any of you lot!

Yeah, I know, but how many times have I seen it on here not to go alone! (Trouble is I'm not to sure what I'm looking for yet!)

I need some friends to go and play with.

Hmmm, I may consider changing my username again to 'Billynomates'!

Oh, and I'm in a 'smilie' mood.
