Took me mate with his mrs Land cruiser (she bottled it) - never been b4 but by the end he was hooked. Even gave us a load of stick coz mine didn't make it up the big rutted hill.

His is a 4.5ltr with muds. What does he expect......ha ha ha

i found my surf with muds on
was still a bit heavy on some of the lose gravel hills
it would lose its grip no problem
its a bit butt clinching
but ya have to give it some and dont let off
it just raors up it then
in a 2.4 its all or nothing on the big hills

Must say its the only time my tyres have let me down. Good plug for anyone wanting AT's. Yokahama Geolander 11 Bit pants in the wet but thats just the trucks characteristics (I now know).

Just have to gun it an hope eh.

2.4 only wheel spin on the bottem of very wet steap hills
3.0ltr spins on set off
i must addmit i did love my mates 3.0ltr theres a big differance in them for power
i made my gear box leak
by doing burn outs in mi 2.4 (not reconmended)

and dont say a 2.4 cant do a burn out thats how i blow it least time
by showing that it can for a while anyway
(just dont tell the wife)

if you ever need a list of what NOT to do in a surf i got a long list
