only problem i've had with itunes is it moving and converting all my existing mp3s, never hung on me or owt like that just won't leave my mp3s on my shared network drive or in mp3 format, i keep having to convert em back to mp3. If you don't wanna us iTunes set your ipod up as a removable disk, there's instructions somewhere with the iPod, then you should just be able to use windows explorer to drag and drop what you want on to it.

That's not a problem with the ipod, that's because you've got Windoze. It works fine on a mac you know.

Does that say you were importing Buck Rogers? Did your computer say "beedee beedee beedee I'm crashing again"?

I haven't tried it, but i think it will pick them up normally on the ipod using the disk method.

Short answer.... nope! Don't know what happened there but I have iTunes on 3 laptops and 2 desktops (running Winows XP and Vista) and never had a problem.
