Ever since I fitted the DVD player that I bought last year the rear speakers have never worked. Me, being a lazy sod, was quite happy just to listen to the front speakers. I then decided I needed more base and bought twin 10" subs and an amp.
Went to wire the whole shebang up tonight and found out why the rear speakers didn't work. The accesories wire from the player that powers the Surfs amp and electric aerial isn't putting out any power! It's too late to return the player and it ain't a major bug bear but I have had to bridge a power supply to the amp and aerial lead.
The only downside is that as soon as I turn the ignition on the amp and aerial power up without the DVD player being switched on. What I need is a switch to turn the power supply to the amp and aerial off when not needed.
So, does anyone have a switch that fits in the centre column / arm rest? There are two switches and a blank in there and I'd like a matching switch to fit in the blank if possible please. (Hope you lot know what I'm ranting on about!)
