We'll be south of the pier.

So, meet up time at say 3pm? Or should it be later? Any tidal experts around who might have a better idea how quickly it'll go out?

Last time I believe we got on the beach around 1.30 - 2pm in the afternoon???

Recheck your tide tables. you haven't allowed for british summer time, + 1 hr
IT's not how you get in it . IT's how you get out.

OK, still a go for weekend after next.

Given high tide is around 1:15PM (12:15 GMT), I reckon we should aim to meet up around 2:30pm. Although if someone local can double check how long after high tide the beach opens it'd help. I've sent an email to Sefton leisure authority to see if they know.

                                As for what to bring:
                                Food
                                Drink
                                Beach entertainment
Sun screen (well, we can hope anyway)
                                Wind break
                                Beach/deck chairs

Anyone have a portable gas BBQ/grill that they are willing to bring along? I'll bring some disposable BBQs if necessary.
