£16.99 at Costco today. 85p a litre. Barely worth making the journey.

What's tesco's price on the 15 litre KTC tins at the mo?

Hi. I just bought a 3.0 Turbodiesel yesterday.

I'm interested in running it on veg oil.

I've been advised a 50/50 mix is suitable.

So... Bookers is where it's at, eh?

i've had a wee scan around too. £16-£17 per 20 litres seems to be pretty much it.

Well it's back to filtering the waste oil for me then. Mind that works out at around 4p a litre. But it's a bit messy a bit of hassel collecting and cleaning. From my last batch it looks like I'm getting 15ltr of useable oil from every 20ltr filtered.

Anything up to 100% in warm weather is ok

...but be prepared to change your fuel pump seals if you run high percentage veg. If they're original, they'll probably be dry and brittle.

Just filter the bits and the water out. Restaurants / chippies, but most are spoken for now, and all my local chippies use solid fat.
