we are home... **900 miles later**

hey all..
Well then we are Home..
hehe got home about 9ish last nite...

The old girl has done well again..
Just over 900 miles since I left here on wednesday and no problems at all....

**Knocking on wood like a mad man **

only used a bit of diesel.. 50 liters for the first 400 odd miles most of that with half a ton in the back...
Must have been all that extra power from the 5.4 twin turbo..

and then 3/4 tank for coming back about 350 miles..

I saw so many surfs on the way back too...
just to damn many to remember and put on the spotted section haha
I'll post a pic of my surf there in a minute and see who has seen me hahaha

It was great fun anyway...

Good to meet shauwn the landrover recovery specialist, his wheel cover just keeps cracking me up..

and piratestorm came down too... good to meet u mate..

It was great meeting you and Debs and another big thanks for all you done to get the engine here for me.
At least we now know what the food will be like for the RTTS that was a ###### good meal i thought and a good price for 4 x 3 course meals.
Glad you both enjoyed yourselves and see you at the RTTs in September

nice to meet you and debs it is nice to put faces to names on the forum and maybe meet up again one day or if feeling like another long drive come down for the srtts in sept!!!
