  • Recipie help (again)

Parents have gone off to Monte Carlo for a few days....

    FREE HOUSE!!

Rather then just stock up on pizza i wanna improve my cooking skills...

Ive got a few bits planned one of which is going to be a nice Steak dinner BUT i cant work what sauce would be best with it?

Can anyone recommend a sauce? So i can either hunt for a recipie or hunt for a packet!

Also if anyones got any moderate "must try" ideas...

Cajun spice sprinkled over the steak before frying.

cook the steak as you normally would, then grate some cheese over it couple of slices of tomato and mushroom, add herbs and spices to taste. Pop under the grill and melt the cheese down and violla steak pizza
Hold my beer and watch this

                    Tomato ketchup.

Anyway, screw the steak, get a load of Stella, a couple of mates and some loose women and have a three day party.

another take on this is to fry off some onions (slightly caramelised so they are sweet - I said caramelised not burnt ), add mushrooms and carrots, remove from the pan
add in a little wine to deglaze the pan and reduce for the gravy, add back in the other ingredients to heat up and then pour over your resting steak

failing that use the Schwartz Peppercorn Sauce packets
                        Gaz
