did it last year. you go in, get split into 'teams' and they call you, or not. spent 2 weeks sitting round reading Bernard Cornwall books. kept getting sent home at 12:30, had to phone in end of each day to see if a new case needed us. BORING. no cases to judge. Probably good thing, as i'd HANG THE BA5T4RDS, whoever they are.

I did mine a few years ago. Had one stupid case that was dismissed by the guy in the wig with a bollocking for the CPS, then a day doing nowt. Then got selected for a 'nasty', which ran for just over my 2 weeks.
Think about it - what sort of state will British justice get into if the only people on juries are the unemployable?
You'd expect to get a jury with a few brain cells to rub together if you were in the dock, wouldn't you?
If so, then you have the responsibility to sit on a jury if you're called.
