well i have been meaning to pay every since this site helped me with my first problem, i didn't know if people would be helpful or not so i dint pay straight away and it proofed a good find but ever since i seem to get a faukt occurring weekly.

Joe if you get stuck in tuning the Antenna in give me a shout I have the correct gear for setting larger antennas up

the slide in/out mounts are definately still available, been looking at hand helds on ebay recently as a spare and they seem to be fairly cheap 2nd hand. but don't expect great performance from any handheld in a vehicle. try thunderpole, knights cb, or communications eleven for the mount.
