is this true that the ncb can only cover one vehicle ??,
if i cancel with bell it will cost me £58 and adrian flux wants £388
so it will work out rather expensive does anyone know a way around this ???
    cheers
    Hi,

I have just been confronted to the problem with Churchill who was insuring my surf. When I asked them to add my wife's car, Churchill said I could not and increased the quote from £ 368 to £673...
I am now with Norwich Union which has accepted the 2 cars on the same 6 years ncb. £384 for the Surf Fully comp & £298 for the yaris Fully comp

There are ways around the issue of only using the NCB/NCD on one vehicle.

If you take out a second policy with another company using your renewal notice as proof of NCB and renew the first policy, you will get to use it twice. However, if you make a claim on either policy and the insurance company start to look into things and what you have done comes to light then you will have invalidated both policies.

I'm with NIG at the moment groupama have quoted £150 cheaper but say they wont cover if it has a snorkel fitted because I might go offroading or greenlaning. They obviously dont think these trucks can go offroad unless they're modified dunno where they get their ideas from.

I can't get CONFUSED.COM to understand what a japanese 3.0TD auto surf is.
I had to put it in as a manual 4runner but I got a quote for under 200 b£lls which was nice.

                          who was quoting £194?

                          cheers.

                            will
if you insure the truck as a 4runner then you may well find your insurance will be invalid as the truck is a hilux surf and not 4runner.you'll need to ring and speak to the insurance company to find out if they know what the surf is instead of just putting surf in and getting nothing
