Right ive put a new head on the truck and trying to start it but it jus fires up once with lots of black smoke but will refuse to run, with easy start it runs a slight bit longer. Ive checked the timing, cracked all the injectors and fuel is present. I was thinking it may be the solenoid?

tested the glow plugs and they all glow fine all stages of glow at correct currents fuses all fine.Originally posted by surfenstein View Posthave you refitted the glow plug wiring back properly.have a look at the 80 amp fuse to see if its blown.if its blown check to make sure you have the plastic isolators on the righ way round.Surfin on the tidal waves of mud!
