Vicki has a VW and it is ultra reliable. She's had it probably 3 years now, and NOTHING ever changes! Its a futile exercise lifting the bonnet. Its still ultra clean, and all the fluids are still at the same level as ever.
Its a 10 year old 1.6 Polo, and it feels tighter and more solid than a brand new French car, and drives like a dream. I'd have no hesitation in having another car from the VAG stable.Cutting steps in the roof of the world

Dunno if I'd wanna tow with it, but I'd certainly look at one of the bigger VWs for towing. A Passat even, if you can stand the boredom
I'd have an Audi too, but a BMW? - Not sure I could bring myself to own one. Do I really want to be villified by the great unwashed for the car I drive EVEN MORE than I am now??
