Fair Swap?
Finally got a pic sorted. Thanks again to all who have helped with advice etc. so after lots of shenanigans with ads in newsagents windows, Ebay and Autotrader finally someone bought my 2000 2.2 Nissan Almera (complete with dents and half-destroyed bumper courtesy of ex-girlfriend hence everyone tried to haggle it down ridiculously!) for the princeley sum of £1500.
Drove straight down to Lewes to the owner of the 1993 SSRG 3.0L Auto Surf I had viewed with Andy and put a deposit on a couple of days before and drove it away for the princely sum of .... £1500!!
Picked up and fitted 4 second hand wheels with A/Ts on in the ####ing rain on Saturday and have all fluids/stat etc getting changed this weekend.
Seems like a fair swap to me! Yes the MPG may be about half, I may be getting grief from friends about the bull bars, but to say I'm happy would be an understatement!
