In standard form a Jimny is pretty pants, you cannot even fit MT's without modding it first, the SJ is still fantastic by modern standards in basic form.
Spend about £1500 on mods for a jinmy and THEN it's the modern SJ....
I have seen a few in our club (formally Surrey suzuki)Nissan Patrol for on-road, and a Land-Rover 110 shed for off-road :-)
