it would probably be OK, the only thing that worries me about winches sepecifically designed / sold as transporter winches is whether they would be as tolerant of being dunked in muddy puddles as one designed / marketed for offroad use?

Cool - I've had it a while, and never fitted it - had to buy a new winch cable, as it didn't come with one when I bought it - and no battery cables either, so I paid a fair but more for it than £300 then had to get the rest of the bits....so you'll have a complete setup (if it fits....)

i thought that might well be the case but wasn't sure - i guess the variations are probably all just targeted marketing of the same 2 or 3 winches
