I,m up with all these bands, what about the early Kiss brill, remember seeing AC/DC at Milton Keynes Bowl, Stiff Upper Lip Tour the best sights and sound ever. I remember I was taking a leak in the portable bogs when they started playing Hells Bells the cabin nearly fell over ! or was it me being very drunk ?
If you like AC/DC check out Dirty DC tribute band if they are ever in your area, the nearest to the real thing there is, they have a few clips on You Tube.
Also I remember my older brother bringing home AC/DC LP If you want blood and Deep Purple made in Japan I was knocked for six when I heard them. Needless to say I,ve got them all on CD now, What about Judas Preist breaking the Law.
Seen Blue Oyster Cult, Rainbow, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, Genesis out of that lot, have also seen the Boss - loose windscreen, oops mean Bruce Springsteen
AC/DC are my all time favourite band! Even post Bon Scott which upsets a few stick in the muds! Back in Black is the greatest album of all time. . . every song on it is awesome.
used to love the 'snake, pre '87 era. eary stuff was awesome - check out whitesnake/northwinds the eary solo coverdale stuff. 'kin ace. I felt the direction that he took when moody / marsden et.al. left was a real dissapointment. but i accept yous gotta evolve.
got some company of snakes stuff, but the vocals just aint Brandy.
only seen ozzy once on the ozzfest at milton keynes in '98 i think it was. saw pantera live too same festival. dimebag darrel f'kin' awesome!! RIP !!! also on that one was fear factory.
but metallica live are still the best. even now. saw them at the new wembley last year and it was awesome!!!
. . . also AC/DC (The best ), GNR (2 fans died in a crush one year, very sad), Poison, Motley Crue, ZZTop, Metallica, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Van Halen many more. Apart from the two guys who died the only bad experience was the (luckily plastic) bottles being thrown at the DJ, Vance I think, some were full of p!ss.
I went again to see Ozzy in the late 90's, I think KISS were on the bill too, but luckily I was off my face by then and slept through their set!
