well after much head scratching,and nearly a few tears,it is with great happiness i wish to declare,

it would seem that injection pumps do no go on for ever,and the poomobile required a new one(and a turbo sensor thingy,cheers stormy,check your paypal dude). this happened when i found out i had a potential 2 weeks of work left and none in the forseeable future.but all in the space of two hours yesterdday,i got 2 years more work ,another 3 quid an hour for my troubles and a working poomobile !!!!!

it was one hell of a day ysterday.i was off to germany as of next week to work on a site owned by some german water company.the head honcho who has not been seen for many a moon appeared and asked to see me.he said he had been contacted about an analysts post koln applied for by me.he told them i was not availaable,offerd me another 3 quid an hour and 2 years work,which is not at an unappreciable rate now !!

then maybe ten minutes later danny from steve tingley autos(who specialise in surfs,hilux pick ups land cruisers etc) called and said the poomobile was up and running,he had done the pump(in 4 and a half hours) and would i care to pay for it...........spot on !!!!

cheers trev,and ian.....sounds like the 3.0 litre is on the cards soon.mine failed on a track rod end,it was 18 quid from a local car parts place.back brakes were just out of adjustment,took them apart and cleaned all the mud out,all was well. good luck
