servo and MOT

the wife has a 206 that is now in need of a MOT

there appears to be a problem with brake servo in that it constatntly hisses until the break peddle is pressed indication an air leak of some discription in the unit. I don't believe these have serviceable parts so looks like a new unit.

The question is will it pass an MOT as it is bearing in mind that there does not appear to be any loss in breaking?

if they detect it they will fail it. no messing about when it comes to faulty brake parts.

my sister has a 206 and its brake system does the same, (it really annoys me) but it has gone through at least 2 or 3 mot's with no problem.
Also had the car in a proper peogeut garage last week and they never complained about that (and they had a go at just about everything else on the car)
