Apoligies but the search won't let me, keeps asking me to logon again.

Roof Bars for a 3rd Gen. Anyone give me the info regarding getting hold of some? Any of the Thule type suitable?

    Cheers

I use the Thule ones on my 3rd gen m8, but to use the roof channels, instead of using the supplied anchor plates, (which are too small to grip), I found a local stockist of unistrut products via the net, and bought 8 channel nuts 4mm thread, and they fit the roof channels perfectly.
Failing that I have a set of bars that fit in the door seals, yours if you want for the cost of postage m8, in fact free to any good home if anyone can use them & I beleive they will fit both 2nd as well as 3rd gen surfs.

Edited 29.06.04 Sorry but the channel nut should be 8 of, 6mm tapped channel nuts

        Hope this helps m8

        Cheers
