      Mark - you should hinge the rear glass - have a solid back under it - then you've increased your rear load size....don't snigger....

      That way, you'll have the blue print for my rear end!

        THE FRAME WORK YOU SEE BEHIND THE REAR WINDOW,is to take the twin rear roll hoops.and provide a deck to stand on and cover for battery,etc.the rest of the frame work will be fitted once i have the floor in place.

          ah but i have though of that the window slides down inside the rear bulkhead.you pull a pin from inside and pull it down.

                Couldn't you shag another tailgate and use the window winder mechanism...

                Just keep it tucked away behind the rear seats...?

                        cheers guys.its nice to know the work im doing is appreciated.i hope to post pics up daily or weekly as i progress.then hopefully when some one else wants to chop their surf its all here in pics for reference.

                              It's just the pick-up bed that puts me off the four door trucks, unless it's long enough to fit a couple of dirt bikes in with the tailgate shut, I think they look weird.
