    Do YOU think Japan is in the EU?

    Do you know when I was on the phone today to the DVLA of all places, the woman on the other end asked me if Japan was in the European Union??

    Are they meant to ask such things (i.e. red tape), just like the checkout people do if you'd like any help with packing sir? Even though I have only bought about 5 items! The World's gone mad I tell ya, mad.

          It's not their fault. Shirley's daughter works in KFC in Stirling, they have to ask that question if a customer asks for 'Coke'. Coke is a brand name, as is Pepsi, if you ask for a 'Cola', you'll get what they have.

              Yes, I like asking that one in the US, knowing full well the confusion it'll cause after which I will then have to educate the person muahaha. Then you get to have the lovely debate on whether fries ARE fries if they are actually baked! Oh what fun!
