Did you notice how the "mum" looked just like "Waynetta Slob" ??

I think all male children shoud be vacesctamised at birth, and only after passing an IQ test and proving they can afford it, should they have the proceedure reversed, and be allowed to breed ( with a female of similar IQ).
An how boring would that be - no one for you men to bit@h about.....

Not really, he was a rascist, a bigot, a hypocrite and had a bad hair cut, but I'm sick and tired of my taxes paying for degenerate scum to live for free and not give a f*ck for the consequenses of their squalid lifestyle

Good for you, you worked hard and got out, but what about the other 10,000 that will all have 6 kids each and most will never have jobs, do the maths, they'll bancrupt the country.
It's your taxes too you know that fund this scum, and their children and grand children, each generation get worse, and more prolific.

Soon their won't be enough tax payers to fund these wasters, then where will we all be??

And what you say is OK? How does that work?

I was lucky enough to be adopted, at a very young age, into a reasonably wealthy family. I wanted for nothing, but was never spoilt. I have a good job, with a very good salary.

Due to circumstance, I now find myself with a fair level of debt and living in a council house in one of the less desirable areas of Denny. Am I therefore, as you suggest, now scum because of where I live?

I was lucky enough to be born to parents who worked for what they had, and saved hard to get what they wanted, my dad was a coal miner before going into the army, and then becoming a nurse, and my mum was a midwife and then district nurse, both worked all there lives for low pay, and my dad died 3 years after retiring.

The degenerate scum make the estates what they are, not the other way around.Don't try to draw me into an argument just for the sake of it, you know perfectly well what I mean, and I dare say that you see and know the people to whom I refer, due to circumstances, I too will soon be living amoungst the degenerate scum,( after losing everything that I have worked for, for 25 years) and I may or may not be or become one of them, that's life, and we all do what we have to, to survive.
It's a state of mind, there are workers and there are slackers, and there's a little of both in most of us.
I get up every morning and go to work because I want to try to achieve my ( modest) goals ( which have changed due to circumstances) I could just sit back and claim dole, but as I said, it's a state of mind.

Guys it's only opinions - don't take it to heart. No one but the people that know the family can judge on the whys and reasons that they live in the place, an way they do.

None of us are perfect but we do all have our opinions be they right or wrong.

Just spare a thought for the poor child an be gald she has been found alive, an spare a thought for her in the trauma she has been through.

i can see where P.B is coming from.Where i live is nearly all council houses but i live in one of the oldest houses in my area not council but private, anyway just up the road from me about 13 yrs ago a new estate was built and my father was one of the builders there and i used to do labouring for him.Now when this estate was finished and handed over to the relevent authorities they decided to move all the trouble makers and some of them were scum aswell from one older estate on the outskirts of town and put them all into brand new houses which are near enough in town.No word of a lie myself and my father in less than a week had to go into several of these new houses and do one hell of alot of repairs e.g new doors, new kitchen units and in one house a new bathroom suite. Some people don't give a toss about the properties

I would never tar all people with the same brush that live on council estates as the majority of them are hard working people and do their best to pay they're way, but its the minority that have given just about everyone who lives on these housing estates a bad name.
As said i'm not tarring all council house residents with the same brush but just say what i know from experience

This thread is getting a little 'heated' I hope its not all my fault ?
I didn't attempt to dis Shameless (I even watch the repeats !)
I live in an estate where tenants were allowed to buy their property and live in the house that my dad bought, I had to buy the house off him to help pay for his now alzheimer care, as state help here is non existent. So now I live in an area with property's owned privately ,interspersed with council tennant property ( the great council model of social engineering) So her I am in a house that is valued at 150k but will fetch 90k if really lucky. We have our generic knuckle draggers, druggy's, thieves etcits all pretty sad really
Labour controlled council, put a rat in a red jacket and they'll vote it in !
Well I've made it to 51 and still alive , must be an achievement ?

I think the issue isn't about *all people who live in council houses' per se. I grew up in a council flat. My mum and dad say (in their eloquent way) "they didn't have a pot to p1ss in". They both worked. Mum was a cleaner in a school, dad was a roofer. 20 years on, dad had worked his way up to being a director of an industrial glazing firm, mum worked part time in Liverpool Uni Library.

You see, the issue isn't 'people on council estates', but people who are lazy, and play the system. More kids = bigger free house and more money to support the tribe. Dad doesn't bother his ar5e working because if he did they'd take his dole off him. Its about attitude. There is a mindset now in this country that 'the govt owe you something'. They dont. Great Britain was built by people who were prepared to get off their ar5e and better themselves. It is slowly being eroded by 'scum' who have happily let go of all self respect, and dont give a flying f*ck about the society they live in as long as they get their next can of Stella and pack of fags from the tax payer.

We need a government with the balls to say enough is enough. Kick out the freeloaders from their council houses and give them to those in lower paid jobs who are prepared to put something back into society. I think that's what Plumb Bob was suggesting.
