if you put ATF in your fuel... won't the red dye give the diesel a red tint??

then what happens if you get dipped??

why whould you want to put atf in the tank?

you can take the die out of any diesel but its highly ilegal
i would not die ya diesel if i was you
i use prober fuel only white diesel
you die your diesel to RED or GREEN your asking for headache from the cops
and ya cant blame the cops for quizzing ya about the coulor of ya diesel

ATF is sometimes added to the fuel tank of diesel engines to lubricate and clean internal fuel system components like injection pumps and injector nozzles

Short answer is yes, but the chemical make up, when tested, will still show that it is / has been present in the tank and to HM Custom & Excise that's all they need for you and your truck to part company.

Would'nt have thought adding even as much a 2lt to a full tank would discolour it enough for it to look like red "D" i only stick a lt in a pretty fullun anyway,

they sell diesel die so that you can die it any colour you want. so that next time you get fuel stolen, you can trace it back if you know who it is

I've put 5 litres in two full tanks, and I don't think it's discoloured anything yet, but I have only seen a slight improvement in my leak, and that may be down to the 100% diesel as much as the addative.
