I saw an add for another company not long ago advertising dies and they claimed it "could not be used to die red" ha hem..
Dont they do a litmus test on the emmisions and if its had red in your goosed?
There is a very legal way around it tho and there is nothing the customs can do about it.
Fill up with red and make a reciept from a made up farmer (there is a filling station up here that sells red from a pump for the farmers etc). Send a letter to HMCE asking to pay the extra duty on the fuel as it was the only fuel you could by at the time as it was late at night and you had run out.
HMCE will send you a nice reciept to say that you have paid the extra duty.. do this once a month or every 2 months and you have cracked it. If your ever dipped in the mean time you say that you havent used your car that much and its re-died what you have topped up with.. You have a receipt to prove it too from the same people who have just stopped you.
