Andy, have you got the BALLS to chop the back off yer truck for real? your avatar looks WAY COOL! In fact its the coolest Surf I have seen! except it does appear you have a spare door handle on the back... or is that a cunning way to convert the pickup bay into a flatbed - drop the tailgate and open the rear-rear doors!?

Excuse me if I'm missing the point but isn't the sliding glass and the tail one of the main features of a Surf ?
Why not just buy a Hilux or a Crew Cab or even a 1st Gen

Did you guys not watch Top Gear where Clarkeson showed the lack of practicality in a pick-up ?
Unless you're planning on fitting a gun rack or parking a jet ski in the back ...

Also if you are to drunk to put up the tent, you are more cosy in the back of a surf than a pickup.

if i wanted practical i would of bought myself a volkswagen passat estate.i wanted to be different,at the end of the day stein is just a toy.i can still sleep in the back just pitch a tent in the bed.its not far from completion now a few more weeks and stein will be finished so watch this space and prepare to mess yourself.

The practicality of it is what made me finally make my mind up on getting a surf instead of a pickup.. -that combined with the fact that surfs tend to have more creature comforts and extras as stock
