  • quick ball joint spacers discussion

    ok, a scenario:
a truck has stock front suspension, but the tortion bars have been adjusted to give 2" lift. for the sake of this we will say that this is its max it can be adjusted due to the drive shaft angles.

the person then decides he wants more lift, and thinks about going down the route of 1.5" bj spacers.
once these are installed, with the tortion bars cranked up to the 2", will then the angles of the drive shaft be now way way out?
    Oh Nana, what's my name?

The angle will be around the same, but you'll have more articulation on the front and gain a little more height, so you can unwind the TORSION bars a little to soften the ride.
Fit a diff drop kit to lessen the driveshaft angles.

Are you sure about that? With the spacers, the upper wish-bone will be the same angle, but the rest of the system will be pushed down 1.5" surely and thus increase the drive-shaft angles?

Definately fit a diff-drop. Easy job, and helps everything stay in line.
