4x4 accessories and tyres are in leeming bar, North yorkshire... A1 (quite far north of doncaster) near northallerton

milners are in matlock, Derbyshire... off the M1...

if you go there, there's a nice truck stop on J29 M1 at chesterfield (secure parking)... they're doing up the shop at the moment so not much tassley stuff!

both a bit off track, but i know you irish truckers are limited to 90 Mph, not 56 like us!! hehehe!!

if you're in Doncaster there is a truck park there, just follow the signs... but you will be knocked all night with the offer of "business"

edit: from donny to newcastle you pass right by 4x4 accessories and tyres... (that is Newcasle upon tyne and not under lyme, right?) A1 J52 A684 leeming bar... they're on the leeming bar trading estate

Thanks for the info lads, speed limiter working fine since Wincanton owned the unit over there

Only problem with Hilux is that we'll be keen to get some road behind us once we dock and then on the way back it might be too late I'll find out where he is just in case

Arrived on ferry from Holyhead at midnight Friday morning, headed straight to Doncaster and was there around 4am, we waited till opening time and bought a 40' trailer at a place called EVS and just as we were about to head north for Newcastle word came thru that the load was down in London not Newcastle, so hit Northwood London at 2pm yesterday, got delayed 3 hrs but eventually were ready to make a break for the ferry once again. 45 mins later and we were still driving round Ruislip trying to find the way out hehe but a helpful laughing walker turned us round and pointed us at the M40. I missed my junction for Nth Wales and ended up in Manchester . Got back to Holyhead at 1am this morning having done 722 miles (2 drivers).

Great motorways - unbelievable. Top marks although ye need a few roadsigns around Ruislip. I saw 1 runner and 3 or 4 surfs en route, the last surf was near Birmingham and the 4 occupants were stranded at the side of the M40 and the bonnet was up :ooooh****:
