New surf just failed it's MOT

    Needs a new exhaust -

Advised that a/c tensioner pully is sold and needs replacing - is that a big job?

Also that p/steering belt is loose (that would explane shakey wheels) hehe

Oh well - Off to Aus - will have to wait til we get back..........

The only MoT failure item there is the exhaust. The PS pump belt is a doddle to fix (if you have wierd shaped hands and arms!).

If the A/C pully is sold, it's not there; so why did they mention it?
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

sorry the AC arm is solid and is causing the belt to burn up rather than go around

If you have a have a bearing supplier near to you, they should be able to supply one quite a bit cheaper than the OEM price. They're a standard type, I believe. Just dig the number off it and enquire.

Have a/c arm on mine thats not being used (no a/c belt)

If not seized you can have it FREE (as long as you take it)

          PM if interested.
