No I did not. I pointed out the fact that the HTML code was absolutely screwed, which it is. Any valid HTML/XML page is not coded for any browser, per se, but coding a webpage which will only display correctly in IE in quirks mode is limiting accessibility drastically. A properly coded page will display correctly in *any* browser.

Do read what I actually write in future. I really do so hate it when people start interpreting what I write.

When someone with little knowledge of coding FRAMED IE pages like your self has no clue about what they are talking about this two is a problem.
Any one with some knowledge will know coded FRAMED IE does not work in any browser other than IE.
If you took the code back to its main source Adobe Go Live CS2 you will see that there are no errors when checking IE format, change it to Opera format and yes I agree, but it was designed for IE and IE only for UK users

Yup. But I'm a nerd/geek don't ya know. Works fine and works well don't always mean the same thing. Never diddled with VB due to it being proprietary, but it does have an unenviable reputation as being somewhat cumbersome, if the info I've heard is to be believed.

You must be American, after the big fight against Netscape and Microsoft, Americans got very anti IE were as Europe and Asia are the biggest users of IE as all PC’s sold here come with IE pre installed and every one is used to using it at work and most IT Administrators will not upgrade due to licensing restrictions.

We all agree IE is not the best but as business decides we go with the majority of users and that is IE in the UK.

Just on another slight sidetrack, whereabouts, if you don't mind me asking, is the problem area or bottleneck? Is it merely the volume of data being transferred per week/month, searches impacting db performance, other limits or restrictions? What is causing most load and/or performance issues? (Other than VB).
