Dont see why cos all the copper is going to do is tell him that if it wasn't an injury accident he doesn't need to report it. Given the blame culture we live in though, he might go and tell them he is injured...

Its not so much the accident, it's the leaving the scene of an accident that needs reporting. If you have a bump and swap details then the Polis won't need to know.
        it's in me shed, mate.

which is surprising cos i did the same thing two weeks previous, and the yellow line is active at 7am, and by 11 am as i was crapping it to get dressed, i came out my door just as a ticket was being written. the bloke nodded and got on his bike.

do the lorrys have a 2 ton weight limit? its the only reason i can think why i was not towed away like the rest of them are
no limits for these trucks, our (now not so popular)just got the contract,28 brand new tow away trucks

When i was on the buses we had to report everything, was a right pain in the ass - police hardly ever showed the slightest bit of interest. Makes me sound like i made a habit of havin accidents, but it wasn't just accidents it was havin windows shot out or eggs thrown at the bus or havin to break a bit harsh and someone falls off their seat or something stupid.

The one time someone genuinely get's injured coz some wan..... pulls out in front of me and i instinctively hit the brakes too hard the IP doesn't try to claim, the bus company doesn't try to claim but the police decide to take out a prosecution for dangerous driving he's convicted - two years and three court hearings later he gets let off.

Back to the thead... My mates landrover was hit in very similar circumstances to yours only the other driver failed to stop completely, three lane one way system and an escort just wanders out of his lane staight into the winch bumper of a yellow 110 hard top, dirty great dent right along on the n/s rear quarter of the escort - my mate just brushed the white paint off the black hammerited winch bumper and you would never have known. Didn't think anything of it until 3 months later and the other guys tryin to make an insurance claim and the police are trying to do my mate for failing to stop. We reckon the other guy had seen his motor parked up well after it happened and taken the details off of it then, the yellow landy's not exactly the most discrete vehicle.

i think everyone is going 'what the hell is cycle polo' lol
mitcham common... i used to go to primary school down the road there.. next not far from the sewage works..

what a contrast though, coming out of school and sometimes smelling that, then driving 5 mins up the road where the paynes poppets factory was and smelling them making the chocolate and coffee ones mmmm

do you know camden house? that old henry 8th era building? i used to live in one of the converted flats in there.
