How not to get out of a shower IOTW?

Staying at a travelodge the other day and slipped getting out of the shower. Result 1 broken wrist and a black eye! Was neary 2 cos the missus had to catch a train up to darlington to drive me home. DOH!

To add insult to injury.......it was a disabled room!!!!

why do we all find it funny when other blokes get injured? i'm guilty of it too, but a disabled room!?!?!? that really made me laugh, sorry mate! the dog nearly broke my nose when i came home this morning, he jumped up at me and his paw went straight into my nose...bled like a beeeeatch for a while but doesn't feel broken.

In this case cos I ###### well deserve it! Hope the shnoz is ok, my cocker spaniel did a similar thing the other week to my lip.

Pt 2

So i get sent from the fracture clinic to have another x ray, get to reception and give my name. Wait half an hour until my names called and goes into the room. "Blimey" says the bloke, "you bin in the wars....I'd better roll your trouser leg up for you!" I was a bit bemused thinking that he might be a mason or something? Anyway i said i thought that the bright red shiny new cast on my right wrist might have given him a clue and why was he rooling up my trouser leg. Turns out there was another Martin Brown in the same waiting room. Had a good chuckle about it with a bloke sat next to me. When i eventually had my xray done my wife says to me, "you'll never guess what that bloke's name was you were taing to.....Jeffrey Archer!"
What a strange day.......
