LOL Funnily enough the one we put in that supra may be coming out again... The owner has been offered a silly one with 2UZ heads and pistons, making it over 5 litres, and a supercharger

It'll probably be a while before he gets the new one though. Plus the old one has no factory loom or management as he used aftermarket... I think your best bet is to get a complete LS like Vince did... 1st Gen V8s seem to be easier to get all the wiring info on too.

I take it you have already found all the links with wiring diagrams etc?
The question is.... Manual or auto :P
      More Lift.
      More Tyres.
      More Engine.

Yep, read all the links and seems easy enough and it's an auto. I emailed Nigel and he says the swap is no problem and he's putting the final touches to one at the moment so i'll contact him in about 3-4 weeks.
I can't find anyone who has done a turd gen yet so could be a bit of a tester.

Just came off the phone to Nigel and he's doing a 3rd gen at the moment. When that one is finished he's got another to do and then it's me. hehe, reckoning on getting it done in about 8 weeks or so. Not that i'm in any rush or anything. Now i've found the donor car for the right money and all that remains is Collect car, wait for the longest wait i've ever waited, drive my 3.0td to LA Supertrux, go home and wait for the second longest wait i've ever waited, go back to LAS and drive out with a V8.

My only wish right now is that i could sleep for about 8 weeks or so and wake up with it done.

When you collect the LS, have a good drive of it, floor it at 70mph and feel the surge of power, the bl00dy things don't stop accelerating!

Once you've driven one, you'll want one as well as the Surf, I know I do.
