    I know this should be in the mods or tech section but all i want to know is can i add 1" bodylift spacers to the 2" i have already got or should i have 3" spacers made up.I am wanting to fit 35's sometime this year and want a little bit more clearance on the arches with these 10" rims i have got

    hi rich,i would use 3" blocks i wouldnt use two blocks put together,and i wouldnt go anymore than three inches for a body lift either.

      Thanks Mark.This is what i thought but thought i would double check anyway.If i get enough compo then i will get the 3" bodylift and get the full 4" suspension lift done also then get the diffs regeared hopefully

        Bl00dy hell Rich!! you'll need steps to get in soon, as mark said unless you could get some made up with a "cupped" edge so the 2" ones sit in em, no chance of em moveing then, but time ya've faffed about probably easier to replace em, i still have one of marks 4" spacers if it's any good plus a couple of long bolts
        Too young to die and too old to give a toss

            Well the spacers you supplied me with were 4" long, i cut some down to 2" for my lift, i think you said you made a spare set while you were at it (making the set on surfinstien)

                i use 60mm o/d engineering nylon rod comes in 1 metre lengths.

                        i know i would prefer someone who knows what they are doing to make the kit for me but i thought for that money i would have a go myself and then pay someone to do the gear and steering extensionns for me.

                          the extensions are just a couple of pieces of tube pushed over the cut steering column and welded each end,do the same on the gear levers cut them,then re-weld the extensions back on.

                              off hand no,but if you can get hold of a set of calipers and measure the rod and gear sticks diammeter then just get the i/d of the tube about a mm bigger.
