BTW, I'm not organising this as such. I'm going anyway, whether or not we raise 8 trucks to go, but just thought it would be good to have all Surfs and forum members.

going to check my finances i will possibly try to get sponsorship for the trip to cover about 25% of the funding then donate the remaning funds to the forums main charity

I'm sure we can get 8 members to sign up for it, the only problem for some of us is raising the 25% deposit at such short notice, but Peter and I have come to an arrangement on that score, so I'm in.

All I have to do now is earn enough money to get the surf prep'd for the trip,pay for the fuel and ferry crossings and hope it stays reliable for the next couple of years.
