  • New use for a snorkel - Very Lucky Bullet!!!

When I got home tonight I parked the Bullet on the drive next to the partially finished horse lorry.

Tonight its been super windy here, and when the dogs started barking we went outside to see what was wrong.

The ramp on the lorry (6ft square steel frame, lined with 3/4"ply and ally sheet that Tony and I can just about lift between us) had fallen down ontop of the Bullet

Thanks to the Safari snorkel which caught most of the weight the windscreen, side window, and front wing and door are fine, only the window deflector is broken.

That was £200 well spent in my book!!!

                      Pics for the curious...........

                      Poor Truck.....

Who bitched about that 'silly weak' top bracket on the Safari Snorkels? properly fitted, it held up the horse lorry ramp and saved the windscreen.

hehe, a P reg Iveco Cargo, I doubt it!! It would if we spend £3000 on particulate filters.

But, why would we want to take the horses to London? So not bothered.
