can anyone tell me is this a gen 3 surf

thats exactly the same as mine except i have a bulging hole in the bonnet for the intercooler, if you like it go for it but it is better with the intercooler.

got to admit i do like the gen 3 better than the gen 2 it looks a bit more modern and from what i read it seems easier to do suspension lifts.
