  • got new BFG all-terrains fitted yesterday

    and the difference is amazing!

    got 31x10.5x15's BFG all-terrains

old tyres were on vehicle when i got it - cheapo camac remoulds - mud tread
they were starting to crack and tread down to 5mm

the ride quality of the truck is vastly improved, no more wallowing around on bends, and much less noisier, and truck doesnt shake as much as it used to
(pressure on tyres 30psi as it was with old tyres)

yes - it will be comprised in deep muddy gloop compared to before, but the all-terrains should be much better on wet and snowy roads

wish i had got these tyres 3 yrs ago!

looking forward to testing them in the snow this weekend

108 a corner - i am sure this can be bettered

but gash in tyre and flat - i needed them replace fast, as spare is an ancient rusty narrow rim and tyre much smaller diameter than alloy set

Well done, I've always said BFG are a quality allrounder if you can afford the extra ££.

We'd have nothing else on Linda's truck, its a great road tyre, but still terrific offroad in anything but the deepest goo.
