        Mind you, on the OME side, I read the write up on the Long Way Down Patrols in TOR and they had shocks changed to OMEs - and they are not huge money, and I can find them readily in the UK....

          Had my current Surf for over two years now and it's fitted with OME suspension with about 1 1/2" of lift. No probs with either springs or shocks as yet,

            new +4" shocks arrived this morning and fitted. took some pictures and measurements and have come to the conclusion that my original +2" were in fact standard +02 shocks although they were sold as, and confirmed as +2".
            My new shocks are 4" longer than my +2"??
            anyway all fitted - and although they look a bit long - under compression the bump stops will contact first before the shocker bottoms out, and there is so much travel left inside the shocker that they should never bottom out and shear mount bolt like my last ones did.
