    Looking at those replies from ones who said they couldnt understand why a heat exchanger could do that to my heater matrix i decided to flush it in both directions vigorously, and guess what it cleared a bit of crap and i now have heat.

    No more chattery winter driving for me.

        mines still got no heaters... I know why- I took the hoses off! I might leave it till the spring now....

          Surpriseing how much $hoit builds up in em aint it, had to hold a hose pipe on thight to get it to flush, pressure blew the hose off first time, big gob of red gunge blew out,

            Yup, not much gunge just when hose was put against it, it fought with it for 2 seconds then blasted out other side. Think it was remains of someone using radweld personally as its never worked really well from day1, just worse with exchanger on.

            So yes my winch man in the making can now come in my truck as i havent allowed it with it being cold up to now.

                and mine just busted! aaaarrgh.
                the hot/cold slider used to be stiff - it went clonk last night and now I got no front heat.
                any ideas?

                    Cable came off/snapped? Arm snapped? Check under the hood at the bulkhead for the plastic box that supplys matrix, and see if cable is attached, if not theres prob, but at least you can push it wiv yer hand to get heat.

                          Good show now you dont have to worry about getting the carpets wet at the clog!!

                              seroiusly ,should i do that also after my last trip to clog land???
                              had to take my front seat out and remove sound proofing was like a wet sponge have left it out as expecting the same next time.
