im well chuffed with the finished lift!

      ITS MASSSSSSIVE!

Anyway - Carl has used the heater maxtrix pipes to create his own fuel heater for veg oil - whilst it has the benefit of warming the oil, it leaves little heat for the cab!

Like I suggested . Tap into the main heater pipes like the rear heater set ups do on Winter Pack Surfs . I would use copper gas pipe (9mm ?) and insulate them , run them down the underside like the rear heater ones to where ever the fuel heater is . Fit a gas tap to regulate the flow or switch off the coolant to it.

Think im gonna go down the route of getting metal piping wrapeed around the exhaust for heating veg oil (faster) and then returning matrix to the way it was before.

Still searching for a cheap gas or diesel driven way of keeping the truck warm overnight, its parked in the road so needs to be independant of outside supply due to pikeys

Good idea, but also wanna keep the batteries at full steam, they get some battering up here, -5 or less at night and today it topped +1. So would like summit to keep her warm all night.

My neighbour put an old night storage heater in his car to go to the tip next day and it was still warm, during night his car was toasty and frost free. Also means i can wash her in any weather and polish her too.

                                What is the matrix???????

Can't you just run the matrix "hot" all the time?????

From experiance of other toyotas regardless as to what temperature the , matrix is, if you are blowing cold air, the air flow totally bypasses it... the old supras used to have real issues with the VCV that controlled the flow to the heater matrix packing up, result, -no heating, ever.

A simple fix I devised was to direct a vac line to the actuator so the heater matrix was always flowing.... I ran a car like this for two years, noticed no difference at all, aircon, regular cold air climate control... they all worked as normal.

Might be worth a try for an easy fix

Failing that, you are scottish.... You don't feel the cold, and rolled down windows don't steam up :P
