I have a light-bar fitted to my truck that is made from a Thule roof-bar. It's the older 'square' shaped bar. The fixing arms come down and clip over the rubber door seal on the bodywork. This is generally fine, but in the recent heavy rain I've found myself (and my passenger) driving to work with a slightly soggy bum!

I'm thinking that I'll fit a strip of that foam-backed window frame sealer below the rubber seal so that the rubber seal on the door has something better to contact with. But I was wondering if anyone else had had this problem, and came up with a more creative solution? (No, taking the light-bar off isn't a solution )

I've got some of that window seal stuff (the stick on one) around the top of the door, not the car body, seems to work as I have the same light bar setup (although off at the mo due to blowing fuses)
Too old to care, young enough to remember
