I've got this really annoying squeak coming from what seems like the transmission tunnel where the ash tray is located. The really odd thing is, once the engine is up to normal operating temp it goes away. It also disappears when I brake. As soon as i stop it starts again. It only does it when cold.
I've had a look inside the engine bay and there is no problem there. I got my head right into the footwell and it definitely seems to be coming from inside the truck.
Is this where the heater matrix is located? As it makes sense that once she heats up, whatever is squeaking disappears due to the expansion caused by the heat. Has anyone had this in their truck?
Cheers
