I thought that only worked when the 'sleeve' was across the front axle, which the ADD actuator makes happen..????

Cheers for the offer - not sure if the manual system is the same as the one on the auto......and it's quite a drive in this weather - you could always come to Avon Dassett - if the thing above works, then I can have a play, then look at how your 4wd is piped and see if mine will stop playing silly buggers....

No, you get 4wd whatever position the button is in using low4. Either that or my truck is broken - in a good way

Thinking about it - wonder why?

Yours is working how it should.
The ADD is for shifting into 4wd 'on the fly'

Would I be right in thinking then that a manual truck wouldn't have ADD?

So can anyone with a 3.0 auto tell me how the pipes all connect at the back near the bulkhead so I can see if mine are plumbed in correctly???

                      TIA

Might be easier if you tell us which one is blocked off, then I can tell you where its supposed to go.

None of them are blocked off now - I have the pipe that comes from the alt. (I assume) that goes to the front of the 'switch/soleniod' but this is t'd and the other spur goes to the top of the cylinder thing, then the next outlet on that goes to the bottom of the cylinder thing

                          I'll show you on Saturday!
