    how do you go about changing the head light blubs on my hilux surf ?

    i have had a look and it seems like you cant get at it from the back im thinking you have to do it by the front.

      Well assuming yours is a 2nd Gen (it does help if we know what year/model) you need to remove the battery from the side concerned, and move the washer or expansion bottle then you can access the back of the headlights to change the bulb.

      Some rough instructions can be found here

            its a 1991 2.4 TD ssr LTD, and it only has 1 battery

              headlight question aswell....

              i read on here many comenting on how bad the headlights are on surfs. mine are the best lights i have had on a vehicle!! did i read somewhere that there was an OE headlight upgrade. bulbs and lenses look original.

                  Some people have upgraded the looms on their trucks, that is meant to make a big difference.
